    3.8mustang.com is a web site dedicated to the v6 ford mustang.  We cater to mustang owners with a passion for preserving and improving their vehicle.  We currently cover the 1983 - 1986 Carbureted 3.8 Liter Mustangs, 1994-1998 Single Port Fuel Injected 3.8 Liters, 1999-2004 Split Port 3.8 Liters, and the 2005-current 4.0 Liter V6.  The site was founded in Early 1999 and has steadily grown in size.  The site has been featured in major Mustang performance magazines, including the January 2001 edition of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords.  Our site is currently populated by more than 10,000 registered members, who have contributed in excess of 1 Million posts to our interactive message board, and shows no signs of slowing growth.  If you are interested in catering to the sizable, yet highly localized v6 mustang market, you are in the right place.

Banner Specifications

  1. Dimensions: 420 x 85 pixels
  2. File Size: 21K maximum.
  3. Looping. We do not have any maximums on the number of times an animation can loop, but we reject banner ads we consider overly annoying and detract from our site.

Banner Serving

  1. We use A custom programmed banner serving program. This allows us great flexibility in serving a campaign from your server or yours.
  2. We can serve HTML banners, but are unable to track click-throughs on these banners and cost an additional $20 per month.

Payment Information

  • We bill at the beginning of the month for banners served.
  • Payments must be made in US funds. We do not accept credit cards for banner ad payments. Preferred method of payment is paypal.

Reporting

  • Up-to-the-minute statistics are available to our advertisers online including page views, click-throughs, and click-through rate,  and cumulative month-to-date per banner.

Click-Through Rates

Click-through-rates (CTRs) are dependent upon the quality of the banner creative, the strength of the concept presented, and its perceived relevance to our visitors. We do not guarantee CTRs. On the other hand, we have a rather targeted site, so click-through rates can be expected to be substantially above industry averages for products and services related to the V6 mustang.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY ADVERTISING.  If we decide that we would rather not continue your advertising campaign on our site, your ad will be cancelled and all prepaid funds that have not been exhausted (to the nearest day) will be refunded.
