only like 10 ppl have black ones. Puff Daddy, Jennifer Lopez, George Clooney. You have to be invited by American Express to receive this card. you cannot apply for it.

Duude...I want them to ask me if I want a black AMEX...I would image the service I'd receive would be better than the attention I get with my green one.

You don't need a black Amex. A $100,000 or $500,000 or $1,000,000 limit is fine.

id prolly have a better change of getting asked for black amex, but for you id say they give u a pink amex

Dude, think about it...forget the credit limits...based on your income, credit history, payment history, etc. its possible to have a huge credit limit with just an AMEX green card. I want the butt kissing that must come with the black card. Hell, I would love to have a Titanium MasterCard and all its perks (mostly I'd want the personal concierge service). The black AMEX has to be better than MasterCard.

Yea I know, my dads limit is pretty high. But a black one would rule. I'd wear that **** on my shirt. People would bow down to me when I enter the stores.

As a teenager, I worked the frontdesk at a Doubletree hotel here in Houston. One night I did a boo boo while running an AMEX for a ballroom deposit. I entered too many zeros and charged the card for 10,000,000.00 instead of 10,000.00. The guy didn't even realize it when he signed the charge slip. Later that night when I was closing out my drawer I noticed it and we had to call him at home and tell him about it.

LOL, there are many people with black Amex's.

I see several a week where I work (drug store); mainly because it's the highest income area in Ga and we're all ballers.

One of the requirements is that you spend at least $150,000 a year on the card alone.
