Looks more like a people shredder vs a paper shredder.

the way those cuts are, the hand would have had to go in sideways. How the **** do you put your hand into a paper shredder first of all, let alone sideways. It must have been some commercial grade shredder or something, cause you can barely fit 5 or 6 pieces of paper in there, let alone a finger or entire hand.

Probably, barring infection, it really doesn't look too bad other than the number of cuts.

As part of a partnership at work, we have a shredder installed in a truck that grinds up computer hard drives. During a demo, one of the guys sticks his arm down the exit conveyor to grab something that is hanging below the shredder blades. The stop button was pressed so nothing should have been moving, but the generator was on and power was live into the shredder. It just amazes me at where people will stick their limbs without thinking.

"Oh, it's okay, I can stick my hand there as long as I don't bump that... oops... uh oh... ow, ow, OW, OW, AHHHHH!"

Yep!
Had a guy at work horse playing with a guy on a forklift, went to grab him plaaying around and the guy hauled ass on the lift...had his rear wheels cut towards the guy and drove it up on his leg. The shear weight pulled the meat off this guys calf like you were skining a catfish.
