K, so I just found out about this meet. I would really LOVE to get the Machinator out to the dragon and this seems like a great chance to do it. There are a few problems though.
A) I will be freshly out of college and into a new job so I am not sure if I will be able to get the days off.
B) It will take me 5 hours to get to Chilhowee, TN and then another 5 to get to Deals Gap, NC. Not to mention the cost of the hotel/gas/food as well as the 7.5 hour trip back to Indiana from NC.
If by some miracle I can actually afford to come, then I will try my hardest

Hell no. More like 20 minutes. It's 11 miles. I think the record is some where around 11 minutes.

Lets try and keep these "speed runs" to a minimum.....
If you want to go really fast then feel free to do so AFTER our group has already cruised through there....
I personally dont want to see anyone get their car impounded for reasons above.
Lets stay smart here guys.

Hey, I give myself that speech all the time. Here's how it usually goes:
"Don't blow **** up, don't blow **** up, don't blow **** up, don't blow **** up, don't blow **** up, don't blow **** up, don't blow **** up..."

Oh wow, that sucks man.
BTW- I have a set of 2 stock 99-04 bullitts (with tires) just sitting in my garage. Buy 2 more (and tires) and you could have yourself a nice set of wheels.

That's a good idea. They stay open till 11 during the summer. More people may be able to do it then too. Day 2 we can just hang out in PF/G'burg.
Talked to silverstang tonight about Carrs. If we get 2 cabins for 9 ppl each, it'll be like twenty-something a person for the night. Sounds like a great price to me.
