03-04 Cobra Shaved Rear + s281 Saleen 3 piece wing?
Do it or not? I did a search on google and here for a picture but can't find one that exists.
I have the 03 shaved rear now, and wanted to get an s281 Saleen wing...it's a 3 piece but I can just use the main wing. Anyone ever seen this done? I like to piece my cars together like I did ShowStang:
Saleen Rear, Saleen Wing, CDC Side Exhaust, Cobra front, Cobra Lip, Cobra R hood.
For the 01 my plans are
Completed:
01 Cobra Front
03 Shaved Rear
03 Cobra Side Scoops
Cobra R Hood (to be painted)
Maybe:
03 Cobra skirts
s281 Wing or 03/04 Wing
I have yet to see an 03 shaved rear with s281 wing though....ideas?

Correct. The only difference is the 2 extra pieces that go down the side of the rear quarters. The one mczest posted is the S281E wing.
I've seen this combo before but I'm trying to remember where.

Now the 3 piece wing. Does it have more of a curve to the rear fenders as that is where the extra pieces go?

I thought it was called the S351 wing.
I think you should pass on the saleen wing and go with something else.

Not the best of pictures but I cant find anythign better right now. It looks like there is more bulk to it and that is how the extra pieces go.
Lets see if it will let me link them.
It looks like the three piece has a flat side of the spoiler where as the one piece is more curved towards the rear of the car.

One day while I was on the American Muscle website looking at pics of 03 Stangs, I ran accross a black Cobra with this 3 piece Saleen spoiler on it and it looked very good. I think the bumper wasn't shaved though.I don't know if the pic is still there, but it was in the customer ride section..Good luck.

Don't the S351 and S281-E share the same spoiler (which is why I thought -E instead of 351)?

Well I can tell you this...he's switching over to the 1 piece wing. I studied these like crazy when I was putting them on my car. The 3pc wing comes to more of a corner at its ends. Its much more "boxy". The 1pc curves and is more oval/half moon shaped.
Jesse (my buddy) and I both agree that the 1pc would follow the curves of the cobra bumper better. The 3pc seems to only match up well with its Saleen Rear Facia counter part.
But....His set up still doesn't look bad. Its all personal pref.

S281 =/= S281E
The Extremes (E) got a few different appearance mods from the regular S281 IIRC, like the S351 spoiler, in addition to their performance upgrades.
You want the S281 (1pc/3pc) wing. The S281E and S351 share the same spoiler (S351 wing). Sorry for the confusion, I was just trying to verify the E's spoiler difference.
