Debadging

Do not, I repeat DO NOT put any badge on your car if it is not what the badge is representing.

Having Cobra parts doesn't make your car a Cobra. --CrazyStang 14:23, July 3, 2007 (CDT)

To remove badges, such as a Cobra fender badge that's on a V6, you want to heat the badge up. What I've done in past is used a hair dryer and heated the area up for several minutes. Then you'll want to carefully peel the badge back with something. A screw driver works really well as long as you are very careful not to scratch the paint. You may also want to do this slowly just to be sure that no paint comes with the badge, but I've never had that happen. --V6mustang94 15:33, July 7, 2007 (CDT)

What you can also use is strong fishing line to run thru the sticky stuff. It really helps to not damage the paint and works pretty well.--CrazyStang 17:09, July 11, 2007 (CDT)

When removing the heated badge you may want you use tooth floss to remove the badge.
